Gravo's Parameter Creator solves one of the most frustrating problems in laser engraving: knowing exactly which values to use for each combination of machine, material and job. Instead of searching forums or running blind tests, you describe your project and the assistant generates a complete, reasoned configuration in seconds.
How to Fill In the Form
The form has two main parts. The first is machine and material selection: choose your laser machine from the catalog (Fiber, Diode, CO2 in different wattages) and the material you are going to engrave. If your machine or material does not appear in the list, you can request them directly from the form.

The second part is the job description and expected result. The Job Description field accepts up to 500 characters — the more detail you include (desired finish, end use, whether the piece is decorative or functional), the more precise the recommendation will be. The Expected Result field lets you specify the final look you are aiming for: dark engraving, maximum sharpness, minimal charring, etc.

The Generated Result
When you press Generate, the assistant analyzes the combination of machine, material and description to produce a complete table of recommended parameters. Values include speed, power, pulse frequency, pulse width, fill interval (equivalent to DPI), scan angle, number of passes, air assist, focus offset (Z-offset) and image mode.

What sets Gravo apart from a simple reference table is the justification that accompanies each key parameter. If the assistant recommends Stucki image mode over Floyd-Steinberg, it explains why that choice is optimal for titanium with a fiber laser. That explanation is what allows you to learn and adapt values when the project requires it.

Two Tabs, Two Tools
The Parameter Creator has two tabs. The Generate Parameters tab is the main flow just described. The General Question tab is a free-form consultation chat where you can ask any technical question about your process without following the form — ideal when you have a specific problem to solve quickly.

What Happens After Generating
Every generation is automatically saved to the temporary parameters history, visible in the right panel, for several days. From there you can review different generations of the same job, compare values and decide which one to save permanently to your vault. The View button on each card opens the full result with all parameters and the justification.
