Gravo's Art Generator goes beyond image processing: it takes your reference photos and combines them with artificial intelligence to create a complete artistic composition, ready to engrave. It is the ideal tool when the client wants something unique — not an optimized photo, but an elaborate design that integrates their images with text, backgrounds and coherent visual elements.
Custom Art: Describe Your Composition
The Custom Art tab is the free-form flow. You can upload up to 5 reference images (client photos, logos, style references) and then describe in text how you want the final result to look. The description field accepts up to 1000 characters — use it to specify the background, element layout, text that should appear and the visual tone you are aiming for.

For example: "In the background I want people enjoying the concert. Behind the artist I want you to add the artist's name." That description, combined with the artist photo you uploaded, guides the model to generate a composition that integrates the visual reference with the context described in text.

Output Formats
Before generating, you select the output format: Square, Horizontal, Panoramic, Portrait, Story or Photo. The format determines the proportions of the generated file and should be chosen based on the surface to be engraved — a square plate, a horizontal board, a vertical trophy or a panoramic panel each require different formats.

Predefined Art: Templates for Common Projects
The Predefined Art tab offers templates designed for the most common project types: pet portraits, family compositions, anniversaries, memorials and more. Each template already has the visual style, element layout and necessary customization fields defined — you only provide the photo and the specific details.

When you select a template, the form adapts to what that composition needs. For example, the Pet Portrait template shows a thumbnail of the design, asks for the pet photo and the animal's name, and lets you choose the output format. The result integrates the photo with the template style: the name in typography, the decorative background and the predefined visual elements.

The Result and How to Use It
The generation result appears in the right panel of the screen. The generated art is visually optimized for laser engraving — strong contrasts, details that translate well to the material — but you can also run it through the Image Optimizer if you want to apply a specific processing style before engraving.

All generated art is saved to your Image Vault. You can access them, download them again or share them from there at any time. From the side menu you can also see the complete history of generated art in the View Generated Art section.

Credits and Usage
Each art generation consumes credits. The available credits counter appears on the Generate Art button, along with how many credits you will have after the generation. In the app's top bar you can always see how many credits you have used and how many are available in your current plan.

The Art Generator transforms the creative process for laser engraving workshops: instead of preparing designs in Photoshop or Illustrator before importing them into LightBurn, you can generate complete compositions directly within Gravo and move to engraving in a continuous flow.
