Public Profile: Share Your Work in the Gravo Community

15 de mayo de 2026

Perfil público: comparte tu trabajo en la comunidad Gravo

Gravo is not just an individual tool — it has a community dimension where operators can share their configurations, showcase their work and learn from what others have tested. The public profile is your presence within that community: what other users see when they find your parameters or images in the exploration section.

Setting Up Your Profile

You access the public profile settings from the Public Profile menu in the app's top bar. The settings screen has three main fields: the cover banner (the horizontal image that heads your profile), the username and the biography. The banner accepts any image that represents your work or style — many users upload a photo of a representative engraving or an artistic image.

The username field is the unique identifier with which you appear in the community. The biography is the space to introduce yourself: you can mention the type of machine you use, the materials you specialize in or the projects you do most. A well-written bio builds trust when other users evaluate whether your public parameters are relevant to their situation.

The Visibility Toggle

The right panel of the settings has the Public Profile control: a toggle that activates or deactivates your presence in the community. When enabled, your profile is visible to other users and your parameters and images marked as public appear in the exploration section. When disabled, all your content is private even if you have individually marked elements as public.

Next to the toggle are two actions: View My Profile opens how other users will see your profile — useful for checking that the banner, name and bio look as expected before activating it. Share Profile generates a direct link to your profile that you can share outside Gravo.

What Appears on Your Profile

Your public profile shows the parameters you marked as public in your vault and the images you marked as public in your gallery. Visitors can view those parameters, save them as favorites in their own catalog and mark them as useful if they try them and they work. The "useful" count is the most valuable indicator because it reflects real validation from other operators.

Exploring and Discovering Other Profiles

From the Explore section in the side menu you can browse the public profiles and parameters of other Gravo users. It is a source of real reference: parameters tested by operators under real conditions, with community feedback indicating which ones work best. You can filter by material, machine or job type to find relevant configurations for your next project.

You can also mark profiles and parameters as Favorites to access them quickly from your own panel. The Favorites section in the side menu centralizes everything you saved from other users.

Why Contributing to the Community Matters

Sharing your parameters has a practical benefit: feedback. When other users mark your configurations as useful, it confirms that your values work under conditions similar to yours. And when someone indicates it did not work for them, you have a clue about which variable might be causing the difference — machine type, material condition, altitude, humidity.

The Gravo community is a living resource that improves with each operator who shares their experience. The more real parameters circulate, the more precise the starting point becomes for everyone beginning a new material or a machine they have never configured before.
